Funded by a Making Connections Scholar Award from the Annie E. Casey Foundation, this project entailed an analysis of the foundation's longitudinal dataset, which contains rich information on neighborhoods and families. The data were used to test the relationship between education and child health outcomes utilizing multilevel modeling. A baseline multivariate model that matches with a literature-based conceptual model was tested. In addition, linking with the Center's participatory research, the project tested models that incorporate predictors suggested by the Engaging Richmond team during facilitated modeling exercises.
